Madame Tussauds Blackpool opened in April 2011, on the seafront between SEA LIFE Blackpool and the Central Pier, and has quickly become a very popular attraction. The waxworks are mainly of British celebrities, actors and sports personalities. Among the Brits are Keith Lemon, Olly Murs, Wayne Rooney, The Queen, The Beatles, Benny Hill, Bear Grylls, Jamie Oliver and Sir David Attenborough. International stars include Michael Jackson, Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga, Tiger Woods, and Spider-man. There's also a section devoted to Coronation Street which features Jack and Vera Duckworth, Deirdre Barlow and Bet Lynch, among others.
