Overview
Sir John Soane was responsible for some of the most splendid architecture in London, and his house, built in 1812, contains his collections of antiquities, sculpture, paintings, drawings and books. Amongst his treasures are The Rake's Progess, the Election series of paintings by Hogarth and the Sarcophagus of Seti I.
