2007 saw the bicentenary of the abolition of the slave trade in Britain, and this museum was opened at Albert Dock. It looks at the impact of the transatlantic slave trade and includes thought-provoking displays on issues such as freedom, identity, human rights, racial discrimination and cultural change.
