Britannia Pier

Recommended by Visit England Logo
Overview
Two amusement arcades can be found along the length of Britannia Pier, with a host of traditional slot machines and more futuristic interactive attractions. You can try your hand at bowling, bingo and mini-karting, or hop aboard the ghost train, dodgems or carousel. There are plenty of places to eat; you can nibble on everything from burgers and doughnuts to shellfish. At the end of the pier, the historic theatre offers comedy and musical shows throughout the year.
Location
Marine Parade, GREAT YARMOUTH, NR30 2EH
About the area
The North Norfolk Coast is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and probably the finest of its kind in Europe. Here you’ll find a string of quaint villages and small towns – Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Cley next the Sea are 21st-century favourites, while Sheringham and Cromer are classic examples of a good old-fashioned seaside resort where grand Victorian hotels look out to sea.
