Overview
The fine 17th-century walled garden, with sundials, pavilions and fountains dotted among the parterres, has been authentically restored. There are more than 80 varieties of apple tree, as well as a fascinating herb garden. The Museum of Farming Life has an extensive collection of domestic and agricultural artefacts, while the woodland walk takes in ponds, a lime kiln and a nature hut.
