Overview
Situated in and around the 18th-century windmill tower, the museum's collections were started over 150 years ago and exhibitions trace the history of the people and landscape of Dumfries & Galloway. The Camera Obscura, open on dry days between April and September, is on the top floor of the windmill tower.
