Llawhaden Castle
Overview
The castle was first built in the 12th century to protect the possessions of the Bishops of St Davids. The 13th- and 14th-century remains of the bishops’ hall, kitchen, bakehouse and other buildings can be seen, all surrounded by a deep moat. Photo credit: © Crown copyright (2015) Cadw
