Every year, the AA Caravan and Camping Awards celebrate the UK's best campsites and caravan parks. Selected by our inspectors for their outstanding overall quality and high levels of customer care, all of these sites hold excellent reputations.

AA Campsite of the Year Wales and Overall Winner
Tyddyn Isaf Caravan Park
Dulas, Isle of Anglesey
A beautifully situated and very spacious family park on rising ground adjacent to a sandy beach with magnificent views overlooking Lligwy Bay. A private footpath leads directly to the beach and there is an excellent nature trail around the park.
Our favourite features:
– The superb amenity blocks with most set up as private cubicles.
– The bistro offering alfresco dining.
– The stunning countryside views.
AA Campsite of the Year Scotland
Witches Craig Caravan & Camping Park
Blairlogie, Stirling
Set an attractive location with direct access to the lower slopes of the dramatic Ochil Hills, Witches Craig Caravan & Camping Park is a well-maintained family-run park. It is in the centre of 'Braveheart' country, with easy access to Stirling Castle and city centre as well the Wallace Monument.
Our favourite features:
– An ideal base from which to tour the central region of Scotland.
– The quirky metal statues and themed carvings from tree trunks that stand around the park.
– The superb attention to detail across the park.
AA Campsite of the Year North West & England Overall Winner
Skelwith Fold Caravan Park
Ambleside, Cumbria
Located in a beautiful setting close to Lake Windermere, in the grounds of a former mansion. Touring areas are dotted in paddocks around the extensively wooded grounds, and the all-weather pitches are close to the facilities.
Our favourite features:
– Residents of all ages can enjoy the large nature trail.
– Children will love the excellent children's play area and astro turf five-a-side football pitch.
– The well-stocked shop sells an extensive range of groceries.
AA Campsite of the Year North East England
Cote Ghyll Caravan & Camping Park
Osmotherly, North Yorkshire
Cote Ghyll is a quiet site on the edge of moorland, close to the village. The park, which is served by two centrally located and well-equipped amenity blocks, is divided into terraces bordered by woodland. The sounds of running water and birdsong, which create a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, and the whole park is immaculately maintained.
Our favourite features:
– A superb combined reception and well-stocked shop is located at the entrance to the park.
– Cote Ghyll Mill near the park entrance serves cooked breakfasts and evening meals, available to eat in or takeaway.
– Two children's play areas.

Longnor Wood Holiday Park
Longnor, Staffordshire
Longnor Wood is a spacious, adults-only park in a secluded, peaceful setting in the heart of the Peak District National Park. A hidden gem, the park is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and sheltered by woodland. Expect a warm welcome and excellent well-maintained facilities, including modern toilets and good hardstanding pitches.
Our favourite features:
– Luxury hot tub lodges and en-suite glamping pods.
– Perfect location for visiting Buxton and Chatsworth Estate.
– Nearby local hikes and cycle rides along the Tissington Trail and Monsal Trail.
AA Campsite of the Year South West England
Woodovis Park
Tavistock, Devon
Peacefully located in the Tamar Valley at the end of a private, half-mile, tree-lined drive, it offers superb on-site facilities and high levels of customer care from the owners. The toilets are immaculate and well maintained, plus there is an indoor swimming pool, sauna, well-stocked shop, good information and games rooms, and a campers' kitchen with pizza oven.
Our favourite features:
– The onsite 'Snack Shack' serves tasty snacks and complete meals.
– Electric bike hire and a charging point for electric cars.
– Solar panels that produce enough power for the whole park.
AA Campsite of the Year South East England
Concierge Camping
Chichester, West Sussex
Developing Concierge Camping, a stunning park in a field adjoining the owners' home, has been a labour of love. It is a first-class, small park for 37 units offering large, fully serviced pitches with some suitable for American RVs, and the attention to detail throughout is very impressive. Everything is high spec, from the very spacious pitches and the reception.
Our favourite features:
– A shop that sells local produce, coffee, drinks, late-arrival and breakfast hampers.
– 'Gladiator' pitches have a mini-safari tent living space, replete with a wood-fired oven.
– Ten unique 'Emperor' pitches for the ultimate 'Concierge' experience.
AA Holiday Park of the Year
Trevornick
Hollywell Bay, Cornwall
Trevornick is a large seaside holiday complex with excellent facilities and amenities, including a pool complex with extra spa room, sun lounge area, children's splash pool and eating venues.
Our favourite features:
– Plenty of entertainment including a children's club and an evening cabaret.
– A sandy beach is just a 15-minute footpath walk away.
– The park has 36 Euro tents for hire, plus luxury static caravans.
AA Glamping Site of the Year
Hadspen Glamping
Castle Cary, Somerset
An idyllic, get-away haven deep in the Somerset countryside close to Castle Cary. Set on a hillside with stunning views, the three beautifully furnished, off-grid canvas eco-lodges are individually designed and decorated in a unique style, sleeping between four and seven.
Our favourite features:
– Horscombe Lodge's outdoor copper bath hot tub.
– Lime Kiln Lodge and Grisway Lodge's wood-fired hot tubs.
– The excellent food and drink hampers, sourced from local farm shops, which can be pre-booked.
AA Most Improved Campsite of the Year
Park Foot Holiday Park
Pooley Bridge, Cumbria
Park Foot is located in a gorgeous area right beside Ullswater and the wonderful fells – it's perfect for those that wish to explore the many paths in the area and there is a lovely walk from the park's shorefront to picturesque Pooley Bridge from where the Ullswater steamer departs. You'll discover a range of excellent touring pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents.

– A very well-stocked shop.
– TJ'S Restaurant and Bar.
– The new Ninja Trail playground is popular with children of all ages.
AA Small Campsite of the Year
Killerby Old Hall Cottages & Caravan Site
Scarborough, North Yorkshire
A beautiful family-run site sheltered by mature trees and shrubs, located at the rear of The Old Hall, only 600 metres away from Cayton. The modern amenity blocks are well equipped and there's also a laundry room. All pitches are hardstanding with digital TV feed, and half are fully serviced.
Our favourite features:
– The outdoor children's play park
– The indoor heated swimming pool (can be booked for an additional charge).

Old Oaks Touring & Glamping
Glastonbury, Somerset
Old Oaks is an exceptional, adults-only park offering landscaped pitches, impeccably maintained grounds and wonderful views. The top-class facilities include a well-stocked shop selling locally-sourced produce, cakes and gifts, two smart shower blocks with excellent wet rooms. Glamping comprises 6 two-person, heated wooden glamping cabins, two shepherd's huts and four mini lodges.
Our favourite features:
– The half-acre fishing lake.
– The dog walk, dog field with swimming pond and even a hot doggy shower!
– Two of the glamping units have private hot tubs.
