Dog friendly walks in Gloucestershire

The rolling green landscapes of Gloucestershire are ideal for dog walkers. This mostly rural county, bisected by the River Severn, offers an array of exciting areas to explore, such as the Cotswolds AOBN, the Forest of Dean, Wye Valley AOBN and a variety of picturesque Cotswold villages. Walks include Staunton and the Forest of Dean, a walks through an ancient, wild forest filled with large areas of woodland for wildlife, and Along the River Severn at Gloucester, a walk which combines a fascinating city tour and heritage trail with a rural walk along the banks of the River Severn.
