A stroll around Tunbridge Wells

Walk directions

From the car park behind The Pantiles, turn right and walk up to the main road. Cross over, and then walk up Major York's Road. Just after the car park take the footpath to the left and walk across the common, keeping ahead until you reach Hungershall Park, where you turn left. Keep following the road until you come to a footpath that leads up to the right.

Follow this path up through the trees onto a private road. Continue walking ahead and when you reach the top take the track that runs ahead through the trees. After a horse barrier, bear right to pass the churchyard, then turn right and walk around the church and up to the busy main road (A264).
