YHA Helvellyn offers great access to the region's scenic landscapes; perfect for walking holidays. It is set among some striking scenery, just a mile from the nearest village, and sitting around 900ft above sea level. It has its own bar and sits between Thirlmere and Ullswater, north of Ambleside.
