"A site steeped in history and religious significance."
Overview
La Hougue Bie is one of the ten oldest buildings in the world. You can enter the ancient passage tomb that aligns with the rising sun on the equinox and imagine the ancient rituals held on the site. The tomb is surrounded by other historic exhibits including a Neolithic longhouse reconstructed using authentic techniques, Jersey’s Archaeology and Geology Museum and a memorial to the forced workers who built the German bunkers during the Second World War.
