The Plough Inn★★★★
"Village inn with lots of character."
Overview
In the traditional Cheshire mould of half-brick, half-timber, this rural inn offers modern accommodation and hearty pub food and drink. Public areas include a stylish Orangery with high quality furnishings and décor schemes highlighting the many original features including open fires and oak beams. Bedrooms, in a separate annexe, are spacious and well equipped. The stunning 17th-century barn, which serves as a function and wedding suite, was moved here piece-by-piece from Wales. A large garden to the rear is also available for dining or drinks.
