Overview
This delightful inn is well situated, ideal for exploring all parts the Cumbrian and Yorkshire countryside. The public areas are spacious, open plan and comfortable and blend modernity with a rustic farmhouse appearance. There are large exposed beams, and a log-burning stove in the lounge, surrounded by comfortable sofas where you can relax or enjoy breakfast. The award-winning restaurant also features a log stove and varied booth and table seating. Bedrooms are well proportioned, generously sized and reflect the inn's high standards. All have feature bathrooms with roll-top baths and walk-in showers. The staff are polite and friendly and guests are made to feel welcome from arrival. It is a dog-friendly property, open all year and serves food every day.
