The Moda House★★★★
"Characterful high street property offering a warm welcome."
Overview
The Moda House is a popular, Grade II listed Georgian house in an imposing position at the top of the High Street. It has been appointed to provide modern bedrooms of varying shapes and sizes, and has comfortable public areas that have retained many original features. Breakfast is taken in the superb dining room, seated around the magnificent table, which has been created from an ornately carved door from the Middle East.

About the area
Gloucestershire is home to a variety of landscapes, including the Cotswolds, a region of gentle hills, valleys and gem-like villages that roll through the county. To their west is the Severn Plain, watered by Britain’s longest river and characterised by orchards and farms marked out by hedgerows that blaze with mayflower in the spring; beyond the Severn are the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.
