The Crown★★★★
"Historic inn with its own coffee house and leisure club."
Overview
The Crown is a Grade II listed inn that is steeped in history, but certainly has a much more contemporary interior design. Bedrooms are comfortable and offer a range of modern accessories. Light bites and afternoon teas are served daily in the coffee house, while dinner is served in the restaurant. There is a well-equipped leisure club, featuring a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Many attractions can be found locally, but it also a short drive from Leeds, York and Harrogate.

About the area
North Yorkshire, with its two National Parks and two designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is England’s largest county and one of the most rural. This is prime walking country, from the heather-clad heights of the North York Moors to the limestone country that is so typical of the Yorkshire Dales – a place of contrasts and discoveries, of history and legend.
