The Durham Ox is around 300 years old with a breathtaking outlook over the Vale of York on three sides, and a charming view up the hill to the medieval church on the other. The owners pride themselves on offering a friendly and efficient service, plus traditional pub food using only the best local ingredients. Accommodation is in converted farm cottages and a studio suite in the main building. Crayke is in the heart of 'Herriot Country' and about a 30-minute drive from York city centre.
