Overview
Old Repeater Station started life as one of several buildings used as repeater stations on the Newcastle to Carlisle railway line. Now converted into a bed and breakfast, it enjoys an enviable location roughly halfway along the world-famous Hadrian's Wall. This B&B offers simple, practical accommodation which makes it an ideal stop-off point for anyone walking the wall or looking to explore this historic area. Dinner, is offered, by prior arrangement, and for walkers and cyclists there are drying-room facilities. Family-style breakfasts use quality, locally sourced produce. Guest have use of a comfortable lounge as well as seating in the garden overlooking Sewingshield Crags.
