"A beautifully converted croft on the shores of Loch Fyne"
Overview
Inver Restaurant & Rooms occupies a beautifully converted lochside croft on the shores of Loch Fyne, where the wild landscape of Argyll shapes both the atmosphere and experience. Inside, the interiors are understated yet deeply characterful, blending rustic Highland charm with a calm Scandinavian sensibility. Whitewashed walls, exposed timber, soft natural fabrics and flickering candlelight create a wonderfully cocooning feel, while large windows draw the eye constantly back to the shifting water and surrounding hills. Public spaces are intimate and relaxed, with cosy fires, sheepskin-covered chairs and a quietly sophisticated warmth that encourages guests to slow down completely. The Shepherds huts and bothys are simple and comfortable, all enjoying serene loch views. Dinner is very much at the heart of a stay here, with chef-owner Pam Brunton championing hyper-seasonal Scottish produce in a thoughtful, ingredient-led tasting menu that feels both inventive and deeply connected to the landscape around it.
