Overview
A well-organised family park set on cliffs overlooking Wigtown Bay, with its own sandy beach. The tenting area, on sloping grassland surrounded by mature trees, has its own sanitary facilities, while the marked caravan pitches are in paddocks, with open views and the provision of high quality toilets. The leisure centre includes a swimming pool, gym, solarium and soft play area; there’s an entertainment suite with live cabaret acts, and the Lavender Room offers beauty treatments and massages. There are static caravans and lodges to rent – five have hot tubs.

Heading west from Gretna Green you soon reach Dumfries, straddling the River Nith, where you may see red-breasted mergansers in summer.
