The village of Upper Slaughter is the Arcadian backdrop to this wonderfully welcoming 17th-century manor house hotel. Guests can enjoy eight acres of gardens and parkland in the beautiful Cotswold countryside and dark skies in the winter. A relaxed atmosphere, underpinned by professional and attentive service is the hallmark here, and guests are often reluctant to leave. The hotel has a choice of elegant public rooms combining modern design with traditional features. Two distinct dining rooms offer something for everyone though Atrium for the 10-course tasting menu, awarded 4 AA Rosettes is certainly a dining experience not to be missed. Bedrooms have much character and charm, combined with the extra touches expected of a hotel of this stature.
