Rhinefield House Hotel★★★★
"Mock-Elizabethan mansion set amid picturesque gardens and forest."
Overview
Dating back in part to the 12th century, Rhinefield House is a remarkable example of Tudor-Gothic architecture at the heart of the New Forest. Interiors are awash with finely crafted mouldings, copperwork, and elegant wood panelling. The Armada restaurant offers a fine mix of classic and modern cuisine, and the private dining room is modelled on the Alhambra Palace in Granada. A less formal option in the Conservatory overlooks impressive gardens and fountains.
