Overview
Parts of Barony Castle date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. This stunning Tower House has transformed into a well-appointed modern hotel. Located just to the west of the village of Eddleston in the marvellous Tweedale area of the Scottish Borders with both Peebles and Edinburgh (17 miles) within easy reach. The welcoming bedrooms offer all home comforts, a child friendly environment and dogs are allowed in a limited amount of bedrooms. Every room is unique with differing views of the surrounding castle estate, garden and glen. Award-winning food is available in the 1536 Restaurant with more relaxed offerings in the bar and lounge area. A gym, pool and treatment rooms add to the facilities. The fantastic grounds and gardens are available to explore and there are many bike and forest walking routes around Glentress.
