SCHLOSS Roxburghe★★★★★
"Discover a charming country house that oozes character and charm."
Overview
SCHLOSS Roxburghe, a luxurious country estate in the Scottish Borders, blends historic charm with contemporary elegance. Formerly the home of the Duke of Roxburghe, it has been beautifully restored and expanded to offer a refined retreat set in over 300 acres of parkland, woodland, and riverside scenery. Accommodation includes individually styled rooms and suites in the original manor house, modern and spacious options in the Estate House, and a collection of luxury self-catering cottages ideal for families or longer stays. There's Sunlaws for fine dining and Charlie’s Restaurant offering a seasonal Scottish bistro plus the elegant Drawing Room serving afternoon tea and whisky tastings. There's also a spa, which features a heated outdoor infinity pool, thermal experiences, and a range of treatments. Outdoor pursuits include a championship golf course, clay pigeon shooting, fly-fishing, and archery. The estate also caters to families with a dedicated kids club, nature trails, and playgrounds.
