Horsted Place★★★★
"One of Britain’s finest examples of Gothic revivalist architecture."
Overview
Horsted Place is one of Britain's finest examples of 19th-century Gothic revivalist architecture, much of which was designed by Augustus Pugin. Situated in extensive landscaped grounds, with a tennis court and croquet lawn, it is adjacent to the East Sussex National Golf Resort. Bedrooms, in a range of both sizes and designs, are attractively decorated, tastefully furnished, and equipped with many thoughtful touches. Most bedrooms also have a separate sitting area. Formal dining can be enjoyed in the elegant dining room where menus are based on quality seasonal produce. Drinks can be enjoyed either in the Drawing Room or on the terrace overlooking the garden.
