Overview
Britain's maritime heritage is brought to life, with the sights and sounds of a 19th-century quayside. Learn about the birth of the Royal Navy, and discover HMS Trincomalee, the oldest warship afloat in the UK. This majestic ship was built in Bombay in 1817, and saw service in Haiti, Cuba, Newfoundland and Labrador. You can also visit the Quayside shops, the admiral's house, and the children's Maritime Adventure Centre. Other features include regular live demonstrations of musket and cannon firing.
