Mannington Gardens

Recommended by Visit England Logo
Overview
Mannington Hall is a handsome 15th-century moated manor house that was renovated in the 19th century. It is the focal point in an extraordinary garden, which contains a beautiful heritage rose garden, divided into several areas, each representing a period of the rose’s historical development. In all there are more than 1,000 different varieties of roses here and sweetly scented plants are planted to mirror the intricate pattern of the hall’s dining-room ceiling. You can also see lakes and a ruined church, which stands among unusual trees and enjoy walks with boardwalk, bird hide and wild flower meadows. Music and theatre events are a regular feature at Mannington Hall.
