The Raptor Foundation
Overview
Permanent home to over 250 birds of which there are 40 different varieties. This is a unique opportunity to meet and learn about birds of prey. Depending on weather and time of year flying demonstrations are held, usually three times a day and audiences have the chance to participate in displays. There are nearly 60 birds in the flying team, so each display has a different set of birds. Educational trail linking to the education room. Indoor flying area. Ask about activity days, animal experiences sessions, membership and adoption. There is a new exhibit on snakes, spiders and meerkats. Learn how they cope in the wild and handle some of them.
