Overview
The Gordon Boswell Romany Museum is a unique museum and is the life's work of Gordon Boswell, a Romany gypsy, who created it to preserve and honour Romany history and traditions. It houses one of the world's largest collections of Vardos (traditional Romany caravans), and artefacts, photographs and sketches of more than 150 years of British Romany history.

Much of the fenland around the Wash has been drained of its marshes and reclaimed as highly productive farmland. Further north, the coastline, with its sandy beaches, has been developed to accommodate the holiday industry, with caravans, campsites and the usual seaside paraphernalia.
