"In undiscovered Teesdale"
Overview
The Lambs have owned, lived and farmed at Doe Park for three generations, diversifying into tourism in the 1980s. The two businesses complement each other well, providing a cracking environment for walking, cycling, fishing and bird-watching. Middleton-in-Teesdale, gateway to The Upper Dale, is a vast area of unspoilt moorland, waterfalls, fells, meadows and dark skies.

About the area
County Durham reaches halfway across England, from the North Pennines in the west, to the sea in the east. Much of it is very sparsely inhabited, and is naturally beautiful; a mix of rolling hills, monumental valleys, lush farmland and unforgiving moors.
