"A hidden gem in the heart of the Peak District."
Overview
Longnor Wood is a spacious, adults-only park in a secluded, peaceful setting in the heart of the Peak District National Park. A hidden gem, the park is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and sheltered by woodland. Expect a warm welcome from a dedicated team and excellent well-maintained facilities, including modern toilets and good hardstanding pitches, many of which are fully serviced. A heated, under-cover dishwashing and campers’ kitchen is available with a microwave, freezer, kettle and toaster, and there are 24/7 vending machines, including fresh coffee. Luxury hot tub lodges, en suite glamping pods and caravan holiday homes with hot tub are also available for hire. There is a four-acre dog walk and exercise field, and a hot water dog wash is provided. The reception building contains a small, licensed shop, where local produce is actively promoted. Take-away pizzas are available on Saturday evenings and breakfast rolls on Sunday mornings. A gym, games room and sauna are available for exclusive hire. Good security, an EV charging point and free WiFi are provided. Perfect for visiting Buxton and the Chatsworth Estate, as well as enjoying local hikes and cycle rides along the Tissington Trail and Monsal Trail.
