Overview
The Grade II* Birmingham Botanical Gardens is one of the UK’s most historically significant botanic gardens. Set in 15 acres within a Conservation Area, just one mile from the city centre, it first opened to the public in 1832. It is a green sanctuary, featuring four beautiful glasshouses: the Tropical House, Subtropical, Mediterranean and Arid houses, while other attractions include a butterfly house, aviary, landscaped lawns, resplendent borders, tea room and children’s playground.
