Overview
Queen Street Mill Museum houses the last surviving 19th-century steam-powered weaving mill in the world, in a Grade I listed building. Tours are led by experienced guides who tell the history of the mill, show the process from raw cotton through to woven cloth and demonstrate the machines. Parking is free. Café and gift shop.

About the area
