Hares Garth

Assessed by Visit England Logo
Overview
Hares Garth is angled to capture the best of the views of the eastern fells and up the unspoilt Deepdale valley, over fields of grazing Herdwick sheep. The first floor open-plan, vaulted living space is carefully arranged to capture the panoramic views that surround the house. With a mix of mid-century styling and Scandinavian “Hygge”, the use of natural textures and soft colours bring the outside landscape even closer. On the ground floor the beautiful contemporary bathroom continues the natural vibe with a freestanding bath and rainfall shower. And you are guaranteed to sleep like a baby on the most incredibly comfortable super king mattress with its crisp cotton linens.

About the area
Cumbria's rugged yet beautiful landscape is best known for the Lake District National Park that sits within its boundaries. It’s famous for Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, and Derwent Water, ‘Queen of the English Lakes', but other lesser-known areas in the south, such as the Lune Valley and the coastal towns, are secret gems of wide cobbled streets and rolling hills
