"Modern dining in a neighbourhood favourite."
Overview
On Main Street in the heart of Frodsham, the desirable commuter village between Chester and Manchester, Next Door occupies a timbered cottage that was once a butcher’s shop. The restaurant’s unusual name comes from the time when husband and wife team Richard and Vikki Nuttall (he’s in the kitchen, she’s the sommelier) lived in the adjoining house. With its oak beams and exposed stone walls, it’s a cosy spot with a homely feel. The tiled floor, teal paintwork and vibrant artwork provide plenty of modern flourishes, as does the partially open kitchen at the rear of the dining room. Show more
