Norton Priory Museum & Gardens
Overview
Forty-two acres of peaceful woodland gardens are the setting for the medieval priory remains, museum, spectacular St Christopher statue and Walled Garden. Displays tell the story of the transformation of the priory into a Tudor manor house and then into an elegant Georgian mansion. Special events run throughout the year, contact for details.

About the area
Nestled between the Welsh hills and Derbyshire Peaks, the Cheshire plains make an ideal location to take things slow and mess around in boats. Cheshire has more than 200 miles (302 km) of man-made waterways, more than any other county in England.
