Overview
Part of the Duke of Devonshire’s Chatsworth hospitality empire, the Cavendish Hotel delivers classy heritage style in comfortable public areas adorned with paintings from the Duke’s collection. The Gallery Restaurant has a traditional look, plus top views of the Chatsworth Estate that supplies much of the kitchen produce. Expect assured modern British cooking, with precise technical skills and attractive presentation. A starter of pork terrine, duck liver parfait, crostini and pickled vegetables is followed by the comforts of Chatsworth Farm Lamb, matched with potato terrine and peas.
