Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms
"Unforgettable modern food in a tranquil rural setting."
Overview
Close to the ancient market town of Ormskirk, Grade II* listed Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms boasts a secluded location surrounded by five acres of gardens and stunning views over a beautiful lake. There’s a strong Scandi influence at this destination food venue with floor-to-ceiling glass allowing natural light to pour into the dining room, while contemporary art offers a splash of colour and vibrancy to the natural and neutral tones. In the open-plan kitchen, chef patron Mark Birchall and his team deliver assured technical skills and pin-sharp presentation throughout. A meal might kick off with a delicate and flavour-packed dish of Paris Market carrots, doddington, chrysanthemum and sea buckthorn, perhaps followed by Saint-Sever guinea hen, morel, vin jaune and white asparagus ragout, whey liver and truffled honey.
