"Perennially popular neighbourhood gem serving high-quality food."
Overview
SW17’s jewel in the crown, Chez Bruce, set in a parade of shops and cafés by Wandsworth Common, is a smart, friendly, neighbourhood restaurant that has been a fixture on the capital’s dining scene since 1995. The spacious modern dining area comes flooded by natural daylight and features colourful, vibrant artwork, while the mood is subtly refined much like the superb food. Seasonal menus deliver modern dishes in the uncomplicated and precision, based loosely on regional French/Mediterranean cuisine; witness thinly sliced pork belly with grilled broccoli, romesco, aïoli and crackling, followed by Devonshire duck with Lyonnaise potato cake, glazed endive, French beans and foie gras. Griottine cherry Bakewell tart to finish.
