Edinbane Lodge
"Exciting modern Scottish cooking."
Overview
Once a hunting lodge dating from the 16th-century, Edinbane Lodge has grown into a sumptuous boutique restaurant with rooms with bags of character. An impressive stone fireplace in the elegant dining room and portraits of past owners all adding to the charm of this historic building. A native of Skye, chef-patron Calum Montgomery has a solid network of local suppliers as the bedrock of his seasonal tasting menus that showcase the very best produce the island has to offer and brings them together with excellent technical ability and an intuitive feel for what works together. Dishes are big on flavour and picture perfect with local seafood of the highest quality, as in hand-dived scallop with smoked dulse, or lobster with mussel sauce and Oscietra caviar.
