London Museum of Water & Steam

Overview
This Victorian pumping station has four stationary steam engines and six beam engines, five of which are working and one of which is the largest in the world. The Grand Junction 90 inch engine is over 40 feet high, and weighs around 250 tons. The museum is home to London's only steam narrow-gauge railway, which operates every weekend. Following a recent refurbishment the new waterworks gallery has fun interactive exhibits that help tell the story of London's water supply from Pre-Roman times.
