Bronllys Castle
Overview
Late 11th- or early 12th-century motte with 13th-century round stone keep. Three floors, with great views from the top. Built by an Earl of Hereford, as a defensive measure against Welsh rebellion. Fell into disrepair by the late 16th century. Photo credit: © Crown copyright (2015) Cadw
