Every year, the AA Caravan and Camping Awards celebrate the UK's best campsites and caravan parks. Selected by our inspectors for their outstanding overall quality and high levels of customer care, all of these sites hold excellent reputations.

AA Holiday Park of the Year
Hopton Holiday Village
Hopton-on-Sea, Norfolk
Located between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, close to beaches and the town attractions, this lively holiday park offers excellent sport activities, including a 6-hole golf course and tennis coaching, plus popular evening entertainment in the form of shows, music and dancing. A wide range of quality holiday homes is available for hire.

Camp de Rêves Glamping
St Peter's, Guernsey
Eco-friendly Camp de Rêves overlooks Guernsey’s west coast beaches and beyond, so you can expect breathtaking sunsets and stunning sea views. There are eight units available, comprising five safari tents and three shepherd's huts; all nicely appointed and fully equipped. There are also a communal kitchen and pizza hub, children's facilities including a pirate ship, and much more.

AA Small Campsite of the Year
Hallsdown Farm Touring Park
Arlington, Devon
Located on a working farm, Hallsdown Farm Touring Park is a small and very peaceful adults-only park, tucked away in a lovely part of north Devon, close to Barnstaple, Exmoor and some dramatic coastline. There are four toilet/shower cubicles, all kept spotlessly clean, as well as a dish-wash area and laundry room. Ten hardstanding, premium pitches each have a toilet, shower and washbasin in their own cabin. Campers can expect good access from the main road, neat grass, shelter from surrounding trees and hedges, and CCTV security. A real pleasure to visit.

– Adults only site; ideal for some peace and quiet away from the kids.
– Well maintained site, nicely kept lawns and hedges.
– Perfect for walking, on the Coastal Path or across Exmoor.
AA Most Improved Campsite of the Year
Eye Kettleby Lakes
Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
A haven for lovers of coarse fishing and walking, this site, located in the hamlet of Eye Kettleby, provides very high standards. There are eight fishing lakes as well as designated walking areas and accommodation in lodges, a glamping forest and touring fields. Touring pitches are fully serviced and divided by mature hedges for privacy. Amenity blocks provide excellent standards in respect of fittings and privacy, while the reception chalet contains a well-stocked shop selling local produce. The owners have strong sustainability and eco-friendly practices, with an on-site wind turbine and over 300 solar panels that generate electricity for the site.

Love2Stay Shrewsbury
Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Love2Stay Shrewsbury is a unique site set on 24 acres of grounds. A combination of excellent fully serviced touring pitches – some with the availability of fully furnished, stylish awnings – and a variety of glamping units, all with alfresco areas and hot tubs. Adjacent to the glamping units, barbecue and pizza ovens are provided for communal gatherings, and a well-equipped gym with spa treatments is also available. A wild water swimming pool and a heated paddling pool with adjacent beach are further attractions. Stylish public areas include an excellent reception with information area and a fully licensed bistro.

AA Sustainable Park of the Year
The Quiet Site
Watermillock, Cumbria
The Quiet Site is justifiably proud of its green credentials, and very much ahead of the norm; the park is 90% self-sufficient as energy is powered through solar panels, a biomass boiler, a ground source heat pump and PV panels. The glamping accommodation is very eco-friendly as well, with some built into the ground with grass roofs. The Gingerbread Houses are carbon positive with triple insulation and ground source heating.

Whitefield Forest Touring Park
Ryde, Isle of Wight
Whitefield Forest Touring Park is beautifully laid out and offers a wide variety of pitches, including many fully serviced. The site has excellent, modern facilities which are kept spotlessly clean. The park takes great care to retain the natural beauty of the forest and is a haven for wildlife; red squirrels can be spotted throughout the park, including along the nature walk. Two spacious, luxury lodges with modern amenities are available to book.

Treloy Touring Park
Newquay, Cornwall
Treloy is set in countryside close to the busy town of Newquay and some amazing beaches. It caters exclusively for families and couples with their own touring caravan, motorhome or tent. The site's sheltered location makes it ideal for exploring stunning beaches, coastal paths and picturesque villages. The excellent facilities feature 20 private washrooms, all with shower, toilet, washbasin, hand drier and bench; six parent and child rooms; baby bathroom and three dedicated family shower rooms. There's a heated swimming pool, paddling pool and sunbathing area, shop and games room.

Old Hall Caravan Park
Capernwray, Lancashire
Old Hall Caravan Park is a lovely secluded park set in a clearing among trees at the end of a half-mile long drive. This peaceful park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, and there are marked walks in the woods. A pathway over a meandering brook through woodland separates the reception from the touring area. All pitches are fully serviced and the stylish amenity block contains superb combined shower, toilet and washbasin rooms with excellent fixtures and fittings.

Alders Caravan Park
Alne, North Yorkshire
Alders is a family-run park located in a quiet village, three miles from the lovely market town of Easingwold and close to York and the moors. The park is set on a working farm and offers spacious, level touring pitches and camping pods in a peaceful setting. The local cricket club is based on the farm and visitors are welcome to use the bar facilities and watch the match at weekends.
Our favourite features:
– Cricket fans will love the regular matches that take place on site.
– Whiteley's Café offers homemade cakes and plenty more.
– It's a farm! You can see cattle, chickens and sheep.

Ballater Caravan Park
Ballater, Aberdeenshire
Ballater Caravan Park is at the heart of this delightful conservation town. Positioned in between the River Dee and the golf club this is a really well thought out and presented caravan park, with an array of pitch options for motorhomes, caravans and tents. The site is so peaceful that there are times when all you can hear is the river flowing nearby. Amenities are well presented giving good ease of use. A wonderful location to base yourself and tour the surrounding area.
Our favourite features:
– Riverside touring pitches are particularly attractive.
– Anyone for Boules? A full sanded boules pitch is available to test your skills on.
– Outdoor fitness equipment to help you keep the blood pumping.

Riverside Camping
Caernarfon, Gwynedd
Set in the grounds of a former garden centre by the River Seiont, Riverside Camping is approached by an impressive tree-lined drive. It is a mixture of riverside grassy pitches and fully serviced pitches for caravans and motorhomes. In addition to the smart amenity blocks, there is an excellent café/restaurant and volleyball and badminton courts; river fishing permits are also available. Four 'Riverside Cabans' with wood-burning stoves, picnic gardens and Japanese hot tubs, and two mountain-view, luxury tented lodges that include private saunas and sleep six people are offered for hire.

AA Campsite of the Year England & Overall Winner
St Helens in the Park
Wykeham, North Yorkshire
This 36-acre site on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, its beautiful landscaped grounds featuring an abundance of colourful, seasonal flowers. The park is thoughtfully laid out over terraces, with tree screening creating smaller, more intimate areas, including a designated adults-only zone. There are also several well-equipped camping pods, all with electricity. Additionally, a fully furnished, luxurious lodge offers a premium self-catering option. A cycle route leads to the surrounding Wykeham Estate and there's short pathway to sister property, the Downe Arms Hotel. Amenities include a licensed, dog-friendly café with a garden, and a well-stocked licensed shop offering everyday essentials and pocket-money treats.

– The coffee shop is open every day during high season.
