Walk directions

Facing the notice board in the car park, turn left and follow the public footpath signposted ‘The Tower’. At the green National Trust waymarker go straight on and at the next cross-tracks take the left public bridleway (The Greensand Way) up to Leith Hill Tower.

Return from the tower along the same path at first, but immediately past the tower turn left by the horse tether on the left. On meeting a waymarked public bridleway turn right. A track soon joins from the right and you descend to a cross-tracks. Take the path ahead, signed ‘Coldharbour Common Walk’, and pass through a gate. At the next waymarker turn left, following the green arrow signs. The path curves with views to the left, and keep left as other tracks join from the right. Ignore the next path on the left, then take the left fork following the direction of the green arrow. Continue to follow the green arrow and, at the subsequent one, the path turns to the right. Follow it uphill and, after it levels out, it leads to a metal kissing gate. At this T-junction turn right, past a small pond on the left and reach the green of the Coldharbour Cricket Club.
