Stafford Castle

Overview
Stafford Castle is considered one of the best surviving examples of Norman earthworks in the country. The Visitor Centre has an audio-visual display which tells the history of the castle; hands-on items include arms, armour and costumes, and the opportunity to try coin minting and brass rubbing. There’s also a shop and a herb garden.
