Tucked in 330 leafy and landscaped acres of the Nottingham University campus, the Orchard Hotel offers comfy, light and cheerful modern bedrooms. In the spacious open-plan public areas, Bramleys brasserie serves appealing modern food, and the bar is a buzzy spot. Guests have free access to the excellent fitness facilities. Nottingham City Centre is 4 miles away and East Midlands Airport about a 20-minute drive.

About the area
Most people associate Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands with the legend of Robin Hood, though the former royal hunting ground of Sherwood Forest has been somewhat tamed since Robin’s outlaw days.
