Ragley Hall
Overview
Built in 1680, Ragley is the family home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford, and has been for nine generations. Set in 400 acres of parkland, woodland and landscaped gardens, Ragley has something for all the family. Younger visitors will enjoy Adventure Wood with its swings, trampoline, 3-D maze, rope bridges and wooden fortress, while the Bodgers Café is ideal for refreshments. There are also 27 acres of formal gardens, the Woodland Walk featuring the Montgomery Sculpture Park, and the 18th-century stable block that houses a collection of historic carriages and equestrian memorabilia.

About the area
The sparkle of sunlight on a gentle river as it meanders through beautiful countryside; the reflections of sailing boats on a lake; relaxing with a pint in the garden of an old English pub in a picturesque village; brightly coloured narrow boats making their way through a flight of lock gates; the imposing silhouette of an historic castle. These are the scenes that make Warwickshire a delight.
