Asthall Manor
Overview
The Mitford sisters, brother Tom and parents Lord and Lady Redesdale lived here between 1919 and 1926. and Asthall Manor turns up as Alconleigh in Nancy’s The Pursuit of Love. The manor house is private, ‘but the people who live here like to share parts of it from time to time,’ says the website, via specific entertainments such as the sculpture displays. Check their website for events and open days.
