Overview
Woodford is a legendary site in the history of British and World aviation, as it is the birthplace of internationally renowned aircraft - the Avro 504, the Anson, the Vulcan and the legendary Lancaster were all built on what would come to be known as Woodford Aerodrome. The Heritage Museum provides a great opportunity for the public to see the aircraft, artefacts, information and memorabilia which celebrate the amazing work carried out in this part of the North West.
