"Sustaining modern dishes in a Tudor riverside inn."
Overview
Set in nine acres of grounds that slope gently to the River Derwent, the stone-built 16th-century Plough Inn is welcoming and friendly. The courtyard's the place to be in summer, and the dining room is always smartly turned out, as is the cooking. Fresh flowers and linen napkins are placed on each table.
